I’ve been writing on deadline since I started my writing career nearly 30 years ago at the Keith County News. My projects have changed over the years, from journalistic, to academic, to technical writing, but my commitment to writing clear, compelling narratives remains the same. I am adept at writing short pieces for white papers, blog posts, press releases, and social media content.

A bulk of my experience is in long-form projects that require research, interviews, and other detailed background information, including:

  • Case studies
  • Project proposals and reports
  • Research papers
  • Journal articles

I also have extensive experience in editing for style (AP Style, APA, and Chicago Style), content, and brevity.

I typically write from my kitchen table in Denver. When I’m not writing, I’m likely reading, running with my dog, riding my bike around town, or attending a variety of my kids’ events. Like nearly every Coloradan, I also like to escape the mountains regularly for all the mountain activities – hiking, skiing, snowshoeing. Fun fact: I moved with my family to New Zealand for a few years and we managed to ride out the Covid-19 pandemic there. Yes, it was incredible.
